Introducing drive.web -- brings internet web access to your machine.  drive.web is an entirely new Internet accessible distributed control technology for machine or process controls. It uses TCP/IP over Ethernet to provide robust connectivity between drives, remote i/o, PLCs, operator stations and SCADA systems and it incorporates a powerful library of drive control function blocks for a wide range of applications such as PIDs, winder controls, position controls, drive coordination, arithmetic, logic, etc.  It is infinitely scaleable and the distributed control concept ensures that it is cost effective for systems of any size or complexity.

There are three basic drive.web product groups:
	savvy: a powerful package of systems design, documentation, operation and diagnostics software tools.  savvy is platform independent (runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.) and can be downloaded free.
	smarty: a range of DIN rail mounted distributed control processors with a variety of i/o options that can either work as a stand alone processor or can interface to AC drives, DC drives, PLCs, SCADA systems and Operator stations. They are more versatile, easier to program and less expensive than a PLC in typical drive systems applications.
	speedy: a range of high speed drive.web processor boards that plug in to a drive's fast option board slot. speedy boards and special smartys are available with dedicated high performance interfaces to key drive manufacturers.

For irrigation water and other pumping applications, maintaining constant pressure or volume by varying the speed of the motor is a much more economical means of control than mechanical valves and flow bypasses.  Utilizing the Elite-AG System with a common induction motor provides an extremely rugged and reliable means to achieve this objective.

The key to the Elite-AG System is the powerful software built right into the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).  With its internal PID (Proportional Integral Derivative), all the set-point control is self-contained.  Install a pressure or flow transducer into your water system and feed this into the drive and you are ready to go.

The standard Elite-AG is very user friendly.  Using the standard English Operator or HMI Operator, all the information and control you need is at a simple touch of the finger.  The Elite-AG can be stand-alone or can be customized and as high tech as required.

The OPAL is a solid state reduced voltage starter for AC motors from 15 to 1000 Amps.  It provides current controlled starts for smooth jerk free starts.  The OPAL Pro combines digital control, keypad, and communication options with OPAL reliability. Packages are available as modules only or UL-508 panel systems.  Standard systems include NEMA 4 & 12 enclosed with bypass and fused (or circuit breaker) disconnects.
